Letter To The Editor

The new Bowdoin Daily Sun seems to be unnecessary

To the Editors:

I'm glad Bowdoin is thinking of ways to keep alums and friends of the College updated. But the new Bowdoin Daily Sun seems unnecessary.

The Office of Communications should make the Bowdoin Web site the main news source. The office could update the site even more frequently and add in features currently in the Sun, such as the letter from President Barry Mills. Then, the office could send out a digest of the Web site to people who don't regularly check the site. This seems much more clear to me!

Sincerely,

Kerry Elson '05
